Saleem H. Zaidi, Principal Investigator

Dr. Zaidi received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, in 1989. His dissertation work was on interferometric lithography and optical coupling to surface plasma waves.

For ten years, he was a Researcher at the Center for High Technology Materials at the University of New Mexico, helping develop several applications of interferometric lithography. On January 1, 2000, he founded Gratings, Incorporated, where his focus has been on application of nanoscale lithography techniques to a wide range of materials and devices. His current research interests include microstructured Si solar cells and heteroepitaxial growth on nanoscale features.

Laure Koltunski, Process Engineer

Laure received the M.S. degree with specialization in microelectronics from University of Orléans, France, in 1998. Her thesis involved optical and electrical study of high-k dielectric materials and novel materials.

For three years, she worked at the Center for High Technology Materials in Albuquerque. Laure is skilled in semiconductor processing and characterization. Laure joined Gratings in July 2002, where her work has focused on novel etching technique research and development.

Rajiv Prinja, Process Engineer

Rajiv received the M.S. degree in Physics from San Jose State University in 2001. His coursework specialialized in computational physics.

Rajiv has worked for Covalent Materials, Inc. in Emeryville, California, designing and patterning wafers for carbon nanotube devices. He joined Gratings in July 2002, where his work has focused on oxidations, depositions, patterning, and metallizations for novel nanoscale devices.
